Flushing system for water storage bassins

Recently ESEP Environmental Technologies delivered four stainless steel flushing gates with a width of 4 metres to a water storage basin in Meerhout (Belgium). The gates are intended for flushing channels with a length of 25 metres and a width of 5 metres. The installation was done by order of Aquafin, the authorised supervision for the Flemish region. The flushing system ensures an optimal cleansing of the flushing channels within the water storage basin, using rainwater as the medium. The system also has an optimal cleaning when only partially filled. Of course the energy consumption is limited to the bare minimum. ESEP was responsible for both the full delivery and installation.
